Your job
The Finance & Risk Data Sourcing team supports the stakeholders in Finance and Risk with the delivery of data from the different units of the bank. Together with your team, you describe the data-need for Finance and Risk Reporting for the bank’s Regulators (e.g. ECB, DNB) to the local data owners via sourcing instructions and relevant Finance and Risk Policy of the bank.
You clarify these instructions and policy to local Finance, Risk & IT analysts, how to map the Standard Sourcing Format data model to their local data model, what the intake criteria are on the different data-elements and measure the quality of delivered data. In due course you will act as the single point of contact for a specific unit in the bank.
This is a finance and risk business type of role. Your starting point is always the bank’ policy of finance and risk.
Working environment
The Data Department Finance & Risk is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring risk data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance and risk data on time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Data Department Finance & Risk consists of 5 teams where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.
The F&R Data Sourcing team has 3 sub teams and you will be employed in the team that is responsible for onboarding new data requests and liaising with the local bank units on status and priorities.
Your profile
You have some experience within the banking industry and are keen on further developing your knowledge in this role. You have an interest in finance & financial risk and basic knowledge of banking products.
You are a passionate, hard-working professional with an eye for details and works structurally to gain data that is ready for usage within the reports and other data stores of the bank.

- You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (WO/Msc.)
- Your education or degree is in the field of finance, economics or business administration
- 2+ years of relevant work experience within banking
- You are a communicator who is not afraid of giving and asking for feedback.
- You’re accurate and you like to deliver high quality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
