Policy Officer – Non-supplier business partners (NSBP)
You form the link between Rabobank’s staff groups and the Procurement and Vendor Management organization, where you translate laws and regulations into the impact on the non-supplier business partners management processes. Specifically as this is area is being developed you will contribute to the overall design of this process for the whole of Rabobank and guide and support its maturity in the coming years.
Non-supplier business partners are third parties that are not expressly vendors. Examples include intermediaries, donations, sponsorships, memberships, joint ventures and many other types. These types often have different contractual, risk, compliance and oversight needs than vendors.
You and your job
Procurement & Vendor Management (PVM) is a unit within Rabobank of approximately 100 FTE with a global procurement responsibility. The PVM department contributes to a strong cooperative bank by ensuring that the billions of euros spent with third parties is done cost-effectively, with high levels of quality and we remain in control of current and emerging risks.
This position is part of the Supply Risk Management Policies, Risk and Oversight team (SRM-PRO) as part of PVM. The SRM-PRO team ensures that 1) all applicable laws and policies are embedded in our way of working in Rabobank, 2) these processes are followed first time right, and 3) we perform oversight by bringing insights and reporting to the business to manage their supplier risks. In addition, the SRM-PRO team is responsible for regulatory reporting on supplier risk.
