Your Job

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a part of one of our four scrum teams: Rikkie, Fikkie, Stikkie, or Strijders. Your daily tasks involve collaboration with mobile and back-end developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.

You will participate in daily scrum meetings to discuss progress towards the sprint goal. The team operates in two-week sprints, during which you will also participate in scrum events like planning, retrospectives, and demos. Your role involves executing the test strategy, assessing software quality through the design and implementation of software processes.

You will be responsible for maintaining the quality of code through exploratory and automated tests. This includes hunting for bugs, identifying issues, reporting them, and ensuring they are addressed by your scrum team. As a quality assurance professional, you understand the importance of prevention over detection and are not hesitant to swim against the current when necessary.

What We Seek In Our Ideal Candidate

• You have hands-on experience with mobile test automation tools like Espresso and XCUITest.
• You're familiar with continuous integration technologies such as Jenkins and Azure.
• You have strong communication skills, a desire to actively participate, share knowledge and learn in meetings.
• You enjoy working within a team, appreciate constructive code feedback, and are skilled at providing feedback to others.
• You are willing to challenge the status quo, not afraid of making mistakes, and constantly curious about new things.
• It is a big plus if you are proficient in Javascript! (other languages you will work with are swift, Kotlin and Java)
