Your job

As a Sourcing Consultant within Strategic Sourcing and Partner Management (SSPM) you will have diverse tasks and responsibilities. You are the eyes and ears to perceive how sourcing is going within our IT organisation; you visit and advise MT's on Sourcing related topics, you discuss sourcing solutions, etc. On the other hand, you are in constant alignment with our ADM partners to optimize our collaboration with them. You design and implement policies and programs that contribute to optimal cooperation between ABN AMRO and it's IT workforce partners. Next to that, with the help of market intelligence, you help craft the Sourcing Strategy and the execution roadmap. 

Working environment

You will be working in the Strategic Sourcing & Partner Management team, consisting of 7-9 FTE. We are a relatively new and international team which acts as a Center of Experise (COE) on Sourcing and Strategic Workforce Management within IT. We are all professionals with a passion for what we do. Within our team you work independently and are free to set priorities. We also expect you to come up with ideas and to identify opportunities for improvement in your area of responsibility and turn them into improvement proposals. We come to office once a week on Thursdays to ensure we foster also the team culture and company connect.

Within IT we hire approximately 3000 FTE through our primary ADM partners (TCS, Infosys, Capgemini). These external resources work mainly from India, but also from Poland and The Netherlands. The SSPM team is responsible for the design and the implementation of the Sourcing Strategy and its embedding in the organisation.

Our work environment is dynamic, we deal with strategic but also with practical implementation topics and policies. We continuously improve as COE to ensure we learn and adapt while still keeping our objectives. We have routines in some elements and dynamics and professional adaptability in others, which keeps the job interesting.

Your profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic new colleague that recognises him- or herself in the following profile:

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in an IT context
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good analytical thinking skills
• Team player
• Energy and enthusiasm
• Hands-on mentality
• Knowledge of IT Workforce Sourcing is a plus
